About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlantis, Florida. This position supports a new 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, requiring excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. The role includes weekend shifts as part of a standard five-day work week.

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• 5 days per week, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy support to patients in the inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Conduct patient evaluations and implement appropriate care plans
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Meditech documentation system

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in acute care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Current Florida RN license

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
