Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $2,020 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel job in San Antonio, Texas. This is a 13-week contract assignment in an Inpatient Rehab unit with a day shift schedule.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Aug 17, 2026
• Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 5x8hrs (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), 40 hours per week
• Openings: 1
• Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 32 beds
• Team includes 8 OTs, 8 PTs, 1 Rehab Aide, 7 Nurses, 3 PCTs, and 1 Unit Coordinator on days
• Expecting 5-6 hours of treatment per patient
• Specialized equipment used includes H200/L300 and BURT
• Meditech EMR used
• Floating to other inpatient rehab units within the facility may be required
• Minimum of 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week period

Responsibilities

• Perform ADLs, evaluations, and usual inpatient rehab treatments
• Work flexibly as part of the rehab team

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Basic knowledge of inpatient rehab required
• Current BLS certification required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inpatient rehab preferred
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
• Open to weekend work preferred
• Outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable personality fit preferred
• Dress code includes black pants and olive scrub top

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
