Travel Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab - $1,870 per week

About the role

Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Richmond, VA. This role involves providing specialized rehabilitation services within a hospital setting, with a focus on stroke evaluation and treatment, neuro re-education, and functional activity. The position is an 8-hour day shift, scheduled Monday through Friday, with weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Delivering inpatient rehabilitation therapy, including manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, self-care, and functional electrical stimulation.

Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapist licensed for inpatient hospital practice
• 2 years of hospital experience required
• Flexible scheduling from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• Hospital and inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience preferred

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in neuro-re-education and functional assessments
• Familiarity with hospital equipment such as ceiling lifts and Bioness systems
• Experience with Meditech Expanse documentation system preferred

• Adaptability to float to the acute hospital as needed
• The unit utilizes Hospital and Inpatient Rehabilitation experience for optimal patient care

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
