Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Ottumwa, IA This position involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services to geriatric and adult patients with various general diagnoses. The role supports patient evaluations and treatments in a hospital setting, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to promote patient recovery and well-being. Start date: 11/16/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient occupational therapy services to geriatric and adult patients with various general diagnoses.
• Support patient evaluations and treatments in a hospital setting.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to promote patient recovery and well-being.
• Float as needed between the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and Medical/Surgical (MS) units to cover evaluations and treatments.
• Work with patient population including geriatric and general diagnosis cases (bed counts: 13 in ARU, 24 in MS).
• Report to the Program Director.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience.
• Location requirement: Iowa.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy school.
• Licensed in the state of Iowa.
• Certification in occupational therapy.
