Travel Occupational Therapist - Home Health - $2,921 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health role supporting an EMR transition to HCHB PointCare, requiring at least one year of Home Health experience.

Assignment Overview

• Shift: Days, 5x8hrs (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• Hours: 40 hrs/wk
• Start Date: Oct 12, 2026
• Length: 6 weeks
• Openings: 1

Responsibilities

• Support Home Health setting across multiple Providence Oregon locations
• First three weeks: HCHB PointCare training (in-person Tuesday–Thursday, virtual Monday and Friday)
• Final three weeks: on-site go-live support and precepting current travelers and staff
• Serve as a preceptor providing real-time guidance to travelers and staff during EMR go-live
• Limited bedside care expected, aside from potential ride-along support during implementation

Requirements

• Active OT license required; license pending in Oregon is acceptable
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience required
• Must be tech savvy, reliable, personable, and comfortable supporting and teaching others

Preferred Qualifications

• HCHB PointCare/mobile app experience preferred
