About the Role

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health short-term assignment supporting an EMR transition, requiring at least one year of Home Health experience.

Assignment Overview

• Setting: Home Health, supporting transition to HCHB PointCare EMR
• Shift: Days, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, no time off accepted during this short contract
• Initial training location transitions to on-site location effective 11/1
• Role involves precepting and providing real-time guidance to other clinicians during EMR go-live

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience required
• HCHB PointCare or mobile app experience preferred
• Oregon license required if applicable; license pending is acceptable
• Must be tech savvy, reliable, personable, and comfortable supporting others

Additional Information

• Complete three weeks of HCHB PointCare education prior to go-live
• Provide three weeks of on-site implementation support following training
• Serve as a preceptor offering real-time guidance to current travelers and staff during go-live
• Training schedule includes in-person sessions Tuesday through Thursday and virtual sessions Monday and Friday
• Clinicians should not expect to provide bedside care for the majority of the assignment, aside from potential ride-along support during implementation
