About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated travel Occupational Therapist to provide skilled care and support to patients in Tampa, Florida. This is a 13-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek and day shifts (08:00 - 17:00).

Responsibilities

• Conduct home skilled visits for patients with various medical conditions, ensuring quality patient care.
• Document patient visits using BayCare Forms and documentation systems.
• Manage a caseload of 6-8 patients per day, ensuring a minimum of 6 points per day at the manager's discretion.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Florida or a compact state license.
• 1 year of home health experience.
• BLS certification.
• OASIS training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home visits.
• COVID-19 vaccination or exemption form on file; flu shot mandatory.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
