Travel Occupational Therapist / Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $2,210 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Montesano, Washington. This full-time position involves 35 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks to evaluate conditions and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific goals and activities to help patients regain daily living skills.
• Assist patients with various disabilities in performing tasks and recommend adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces to identify potential improvements based on health needs.
• Educate patients' families and employers on accommodations and care strategies.
• Instruct patients on the use of special equipment.
• Assess and document patient progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to healthcare providers.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods without difficulty.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required for specific assignments.

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 35 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
