About the role

The organization is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic support in a skilled nursing environment. The role involves assisting in patient rehabilitation plans, supporting clinical team efforts, and ensuring quality care for long-term and rehabilitative patients. You will provide direct therapeutic care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement patient treatment plans, maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in patient rehabilitation plans
  • Support clinical team efforts in a skilled nursing facility
  • Provide direct therapeutic care to long-term and rehabilitative patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) or equivalent
  • Valid state licensure or license eligible
  • Current CPR certification
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum education requirement)
  • Authorized to work in the designated region
  • 0 years of experience required

Schedule

  • Day shift, 8 hours per shift
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week
  • 13-week assignment starting 12/01/2026
