About the role
Advantis Medical is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week position in Lakeport, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in California.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health records systems.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
