About the role
Advantis Medical is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week position in Abilene, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Assess client needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to promote independence and quality of life.
- Document progress and communicate with clients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations within Texas.
Skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
