Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant - $1,056 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a position in Mound City, Missouri. This is a 13-week, 35-hour-per-week opportunity with 8-hour shifts, days shift. The position requires 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and holds a current BLS and COTA National certification. State-specific licensure is also required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.

Requirements

• BLS
• NBCOT (COTA)
• 2 Years of Experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and assist patients safely
