About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Iowa.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the national OTAP exam.
- ACOTE accreditation preferred.
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
