About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment at an inpatient acute care hospital in Anchorage, AK.
Responsibilities
- Staffed by approximately 60 therapy providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Rehab Services department
- 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) or 5x8-hour rotating shifts (7:30 AM–4:00 PM), with weekend rotation included
- Heavy weekend rotation required, including Saturdays and Sundays (2–3 weekends per month)
- Patients with a daily caseload of 8–10 patients
- Using Epic EMR
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active OT license required (license required if applicable)
- OT certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy
- Acute care experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Qualifications
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) or 5x8-hour rotating shifts (7:30 AM–4:00 PM), with weekend rotation included.
