Travel Occupational Therapist, Acute Care Hospital - $2,582 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patients needing to improve, regain and develop skills needed for daily life.
• Work in disabled, ill or injured patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Perform tasks such as reviewing patients' medical history, asking questions, observing tasks, evaluating conditions and needs, developing treatment plans, helping with tasks, assessing home/workplace conditions, educating families and employers, recommending equipment, recording activities and progress, and providing documentation.
• Educate patients' families and employers about accommodating and caring for the patient.
• Recommend and instruct on the use of special equipment.
• Assess and document patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• BLS
• NBCOT (OTR)
• 2 Years of Experience

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Benefits

• Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
