Travel Occupational Therapist, Acute Care Hospital - $2,361 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role is primarily inpatient acute care, with the clinician potentially floating within therapy service lines.

About the role

This travel assignment lasts 13 weeks, starting on August 31, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek and 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement treatment plans
• Provide treatment and educate patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Delegate tasks to assistants and techs with appropriate competency assessment
• Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies
• Perform adaptive equipment assessment, cognitive assessment, discharge planning, home exercise programs, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, plan of care, reassessments, and safety and injury prevention

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, preferably with level 1 trauma experience
• Strong communication skills and desire to work with a variety of patient populations
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Active state license required; pending state license accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma Level I experience
• Experience with the Epic charting system

Travel Compliance Notes

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off within a 13-week contract
• No local travelers accepted within a 75-mile radius (exceptions for Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Medical Assistants)
• Compliance must be completed by 3pm CST before the start date

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and may be subject to change during an assignment.
