Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital - $2,227 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring experience in outpatient orthopedic post-operative hand/wrist therapy and custom orthosis fabrication. The position is within the OT department with a day shift schedule (Monday–Thursday 8:40 am–4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am–1:00 pm) and schedule flexibility considered.

Responsibilities

• Focus on hand and wrist rehabilitation following orthopedic surgery.
• Fabricate custom orthoses using both dynamic and static techniques.

Requirements

• Current, active OTR license (if applicable).
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic post-operative hand/wrist cases.
• Experience with dynamic and static custom fabrication of orthoses.
• CHT certification preferred.
• Two professional references required for consideration.
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Day shift, 5×8‑hour shifts (Monday–Thursday 8:40 am–4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am–1:00 pm).
• 40 hours per week.
