Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care - $1,748 per week

About the Role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital contract in Overland Park, Kansas. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, helping patients regain and maintain the skills needed for independent living.

Responsibilities

• Help patients regain as well as maintain the skills they need to live and work independently
• Provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines
• Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other caregivers
• May be asked to delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Kansas
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel

Contract Details

• $1,600 - $1,748 per week*
• 8-week contract with possibility of extension
• Acute care setting
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts
• Start date: ASAP
