About the role
Seeking a travel Occupational Therapist to provide acute care therapy in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Execute therapy techniques
- Document progress to help patients regain daily living skills and independence
- Deliver evidence-based therapy
- Assess patient progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in a dynamic hospital environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Active Alaska OT license
- OT certification
- At least 1 year of experience
- Active certifications including OTR and BLS
- SSN and DOB submission
- Recent work history with no more than 90 days of gaps in the past year
Skills
Skills in acute care, clinical abilities, and familiarity with EPIC EMR are preferred.
