About the Role
National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a position in Stockton, California. This role involves working in a skilled nursing facility, helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Planning and conducting individualized occupational therapy programs in a nursing home environment
- Helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities
- Teaching patients skills or techniques on how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities
- Studying, evaluating, and recording patients' activities and progress
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Occupational Therapy license / Licensure in the state of California
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a skilled nursing facility and be able to start as soon as possible. The anticipated schedule is Monday - Friday, with a 13-week contract duration.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday.
