Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Missoula, Montana.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Occupational TherapistDiscipline: TherapyStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): Occupational Therapist – Home Health - Evaluate patients and establish individualized plans of care in the home setting - Provide direct occupational therapy interventions and modify treatment as needed - Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members - Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation and care plans - Apply evidence-based practice guidelines, Medicare regulations, and Conditions of Participation - Complete all required OASIS assessments and collaborate with Quality team - Maintain knowledge of home health insurance requirements - Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and care planning - Document all patient care, skilled services, and communications in electronic medical record - Engage in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities - Meet established productivity standards and maintain accurate time/mileage logs - Communicate daily with scheduler and optimize scheduling for continuity and efficiency - Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and oversee CNA services as needed - Plan and manage admissions, OASIS time points, and discharges - Maintain active Montana OT license and meet continuing education requirements - Adhere to ethical standards and agency policies - Participate in ongoing agency education and training opportunities - Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisorMed Ninjas Job ID #18720.
