About the role

Occupational Therapist Inpatient role providing therapeutic assessments and interventions to patients with physical, cognitive, developmental, or emotional challenges affecting their ability to perform daily activities. This position focuses on inpatient services with a typical work schedule of daytime hours from Monday to Friday, with potential occasional weekend coverage.

Schedule

• Dayshift, 8 hours per day
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/04/2026
• Duration: 21 weeks

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic activities and exercises that can be performed at home
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Attend staff meetings
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Professional licensure or certification as required
• 0 years minimum experience
• Located within a reasonable distance to the assigned healthcare organization

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience completing internship or apprenticeship programs

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
