Travel Occupational Therapist position in Montesano, Washington. Start date: 10/12/2026. Assignment length: 16 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM). The role provides outpatient rehabilitation services in an in‑home setting for the older adult population, working in patients’ private residences or independent living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel per state licensure and professional standards.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, including clinical and billing documentation and work‑related meetings.
• Attend and contribute to patient care, staffing conferences, and related meetings.
• Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address comprehensive patient needs.
• Consult with rehabilitation team members, including community physicians, to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt programs and plans of care to individual patient needs.
• Promote a safe environment and enforce elimination of fire and safety hazards.
• Order supplies and equipment as needed.
• Clean, maintain, identify, and report equipment needing repair.
• Prioritize patient service, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate care that respects patients’ needs and rights.
• Screen, examine, and evaluate patients (history, systems review, tests/measures); synthesize information to establish diagnosis, identify impairments, predict improvement level and time, identify precautions/contraindications, and design a plan of care.
