Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of the principles and practices of professional occupational therapy and the materials and supplies utilized in the program.
• Organize and instruct occupational therapy activities.
• Interpret prescriptions related to therapy needed.
• Establish effective working relationships with staff through good interpersonal skills.
• Communicate instructions and technical information to patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist (Oklahoma license preferred but not required).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association, required upon hire.
• Acute and trauma experience required.
• Travel experience not required.
