Responsibilities

• Administer and perform therapeutic interventions with clients in home health and skilled nursing facility settings.
• Assess client needs and develop therapy plans.
• Document observations and services provided.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide client and family training.
• Supervise therapy assistants as applicable.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Utilize appropriate techniques and maintain client confidentiality.
• Operate using Net Health and HCHB software systems.

Schedule

• Days shifts, Monday through Friday or able to do a shifted schedule Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
• 8 hours per day.
• Minimum 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Nebraska.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a rehabilitation or geriatrics setting.
• Experience working with elderly or rehabilitation populations.
