About the role
Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist – OTR/L. This is a travel assignment with an anticipated start date of ASAP, lasting for the current and/or future school year. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct individualized occupational therapy programs in a nursing home environment.
- Help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
- Teach patients skills or techniques on how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
- Study, evaluate, and record patients' activities and progress.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Occupational Therapy license / Licensure in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
