About the role
Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Salinas, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient functional abilities and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in California.
- At least 1 year of recent relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
