Trustaff Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities
• Recommend customized interventions to help patients reach their goals
• Take a holistic approach to caring for each patient
• Must have a strong positive attitude

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
• Experience working with patients who have physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities

Qualifications

• Passing score on the national certification exam
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
