About the Role

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units. The OT will assess, treat, and develop individualized therapy plans for adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, and traumatic injuries.

Responsibilities

• Manage a daily caseload of 8–12 adult patients across acute care floors and inpatient rehab suites.
• Treat diverse diagnoses including joint replacements, spinal surgeries, CVA/stroke, TBI, traumatic fractures, oncology, and general medical debility.
• Conduct rapid functional and mobility assessments in the Emergency Department to aid admission/discharge determinations.
• Collaborate closely with Lead OTs, Physical Therapists, COTAs, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Document evaluations, care plans, and daily treatments in Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered Wyoming State Occupational Therapist License.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Acute Inpatient or Inpatient Rehab (IRF).
• AHA BLS Certification.

Schedule

4-9s, 36 hours per week. Rotation: ON 5 days (Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun), OFF 2 days (Mon, Tue); ON 3 days (Wed, Thu, Fri), OFF 4 days (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue).
