Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,558 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts, starting October 5, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance.
• Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum one year of professional working experience.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
