Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,535 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Medford, Wisconsin. This position offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe patients performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs, then develop a tailored treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Assist patients with various disabilities in performing daily tasks.
• Assess patients' homes or workplaces to identify potential improvements based on health needs.
• Educate patients' families and employers on accommodations and care strategies.
• Recommend and instruct patients on the use of special equipment.
• Assess and record patient progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to healthcare providers.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods without difficulty.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
