Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient in Valdez, Alaska. This role involves providing therapeutic services within a hospital setting, primarily focusing on inpatient care. Responsibilities

• Addressing acute and chronic disorders
• Conducting developmental assessments
• Engaging in functional activities
• Managing a largely outpatient pediatric population
• Transitioning between inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings

Requirements

• Valid state license
• 1 year of experience in occupational therapy
• Experience in inpatient settings preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric and inpatient experience
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Knowledge of national patient safety goals/core measures
• Experience with feeding techniques, oral/motor, disability sequence test, acute disorder, chronic disorder, functional activities, standardized assessments, developmental testing/treatment, mental retardation

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
