Join a dedicated rehabilitation team committed to helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist I to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to maximize independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive strategies, and equipment use.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Mentor rehabilitation assistants, technicians, and students as appropriate.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's preferred)
- Current or eligible Occupational Therapy licensure
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 0–2 years of occupational therapy experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
