American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract in Newport, Oregon, serving both acute and outpatient rehabilitation patients at a community-based, 25-bed critical access hospital.
About the role
- Work in the rehabilitation therapy department of a 25-bed critical access hospital
- Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (no weekends)
- 13-week contract with 40 hours per week
- Assignment split between two hospital locations on a PRN basis
- Provide acute and outpatient rehabilitation services, including treatment for conditions affecting self-care, physical mobility, and functional independence
- All outpatient services are one-on-one with therapist-driven treatment times
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions resulting in decline of self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence
- Acute services based at the primary hospital location; outpatient services conducted one-on-one
- Flexibility to work across two hospital sites as needed
Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered Oregon OT license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
