Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,476 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract in Newport, Oregon, serving both acute and outpatient rehabilitation patients at a community-based, 25-bed critical access hospital.

About the role

• Work in the rehabilitation therapy department of a 25-bed critical access hospital
• Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (no weekends)
• 13-week contract with 40 hours per week
• Assignment split between two hospital locations on a PRN basis
• Provide acute and outpatient rehabilitation services, including treatment for conditions affecting self-care, physical mobility, and functional independence
• All outpatient services are one-on-one with therapist-driven treatment times

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions resulting in decline of self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence
• Acute services based at the primary hospital location; outpatient services conducted one-on-one
• Flexibility to work across two hospital sites as needed

Requirements

• Current, active, and unencumbered Oregon OT license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification

Pay
