About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Reno, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Nevada.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- ACOTE accredited.
- Passing score on the NBCOT certification exam.
Skills
- Proficient in using OT assessment tools and techniques.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
