Cure Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week position in Canaan, Connecticut starting August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut license.
- AHA BLS certification.
- AHLAS certification (if applicable).
- Additional certifications related to occupational therapy.
- 2 years of recent experience in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
- Primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility address.
- Shift is 5x8 Days (8 hours, days).
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
Benefits
Tax-free stipend to be determined based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week.
