Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outreach therapy clinic position in Devils Lake, ND, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Assignment Overview
Shift: Days, 5x8hrs
Hours: 40 hrs/wk
Start Date: Jun 8, 2026
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

  • Active OT license for the state of North Dakota (license required if applicable)
  • OTR/L certification through NBCOT required
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
  • Inpatient and/or outpatient setting experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required

About the Role

Evaluate and treat patients across relevant diagnoses and age groups in compliance with licensure standards
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on patient goal development, care planning, and discharge planning
Provide patient and family education on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs
Perform pain assessments and monitor program effectiveness and outcomes
Provide clinical supervision to OTAs in accordance with state licensure and care delivery standards
Document all required patient information including precautions, orders, and plan of care per chart and review standards

Pay, Benefits, and Schedule

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
