Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,391 per week

About the role

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will organize and conduct medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs that aim to improve the quality of life for individuals recovering from injury, disease, or the loss of a body part. The therapist will consider the patient's gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs in their approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises and activities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Floating between outpatient hands and acute care settings as required.

Requirements

• Graduation from a professional course accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Montana.
• Demonstrated amiable personality and the ability to make sound judgments.
• Empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
