Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,373 per week

LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 1, 2026, in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient functional abilities and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in Iowa.
• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain necessary state-specific certifications and licenses.

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
