About the Role

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week, hospital-based assignment in Bullhead City, Arizona. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with adults in a medical setting and helping patients regain independence following illness, injury, or surgery. You'll work alongside a collaborative rehabilitation team while providing meaningful, patient-centered care focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and functional recovery.

  • Contract: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: 9/8/26
  • End Date: 12/8/26
  • Schedule: Full-Time, 8 hours, days
  • Patient Population: Adults
  • Collaborative rehabilitation environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
  • Provide ADL and functional mobility training to promote independence and safe discharge.
  • Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex conditions.
  • Provide upper-extremity rehabilitation, cognitive interventions, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safety, home modifications, and strategies for successful recovery.
  • Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and case management.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in discharge planning and help patients transition safely to their next level of care.

Requirements

  • Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Hospital-based or acute care OT experience preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient care skills.
