Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,364 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Newport, Oregon. This full-time position involves 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate patients' conditions and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, identifying specific goals and activities to help patients work toward those goals.
• Assist patients with various disabilities in performing daily tasks.
• Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces and recommend improvements based on health needs.
• Educate patients' families and employers on how to accommodate and care for the patient.
• Recommend and instruct patients on the use of special equipment.
• Assess and record patients' activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NBCOT-OTR (National Certification).
• State-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
