About the role
Travel position in O'Fallon, Missouri. Shift: 8 hours, days (0900-1730), Monday-Friday with weekend and holiday rotation. Adult care experience required. Must be proficient in adaptive equipment, hip fracture and total hip replacement, and knee injuries/total knee replacement. Responsibilities include lifting/transfer, patient/family education, safety/injury prevention, telephone calls, and documentation. EPIC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy for adult patients, including those with hip fractures, total hip replacements, and knee injuries/total knee replacements
- Utilize adaptive equipment in patient care
- Assist with patient lifting and transfers
- Deliver patient and family education
- Implement safety and injury prevention protocols
- Handle telephone communications
- Complete documentation (EPIC experience preferred)
