American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for an inpatient rehabilitation unit requiring heavy weekend rotation. This 13-week travel assignment starts on September 8, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Details

• Work in an inpatient acute care rehabilitation unit within a 175-bed hospital
• Join a multidisciplinary therapy team of 60 providers including PT, OT, SLP, PTA, and COTA staff
• 10-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule that includes 2-3 weekends per month
• Average daily patient ratio of 8-10 patients
• EPIC EMR used
• No on-call requirements
• 26-week assignment length
• Located on the 5th floor of the Main Hospital building
• Light green scrubs required as dress code

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• OT license (if applicable)
• OT certification required for this assignment
• Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to start
