American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week IRF travel assignment at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Chandler, AZ.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: July 27, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 5x8hrs (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with one required weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday)
• Hours: 40 hrs/wk
• Openings: 1

Setting & Patient Population

• Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting with 50 beds
• Adult patient population including neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputation, and orthopedic cases
• OT staff oversee approximately 9 patients for team conference reporting
• Ability to float to a sister facility approximately 15 minutes away based on census needs
• Specialized equipment includes In-motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR systems
• EHR systems: UDS and Cerner

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of OT experience required
• Experience in SNF, IRF, or acute care settings required
• Adult patient population experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Active OT license required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Maroon scrubs required
• OT staff typically report at 7:00 AM
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
