About the role
LRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients in a skilled nursing facility
- Implement therapeutic interventions to promote independence and quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Illinois
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the national certification exam
- Current CPR certification

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
