About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 5, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in outpatient settings
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Document progress and communicate with patients and families
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Louisiana
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Passing scores on the NBCOT certification exam
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR)
Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Experience with patient assessment and intervention planning
