About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Home Health Occupational Therapist for a 18‑week assignment in Owings Mills, Maryland, starting September 28, 2026. The position involves 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with travel between patient homes required during the shift. As a travel OT you will help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. Owings Mills offers suburban convenience and regional attractions, located about 20 miles from downtown Baltimore with access to the Baltimore Metro SubwayLink, nearby outdoor areas such as Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area and Patapsco Valley State Park, and shopping/dining at Foundry Row and Metro Centre at Owings Mills.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
- Assist patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to regain or improve daily living skills.
- Travel between patient homes during the work shift to deliver care.
- Maintain documentation and communicate progress with the care team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (minimum education requirement: Master’s).
- Active state occupational therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Professional certification is required.
- Experience with geriatric patients in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
