About the role
Occupational therapists evaluate and treat people who have injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. They help clients meet goals to develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat individuals with various health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Assess client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Oklahoma
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Experience in inpatient settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
