Travel Occupational Therapist - $2,186 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 1, 2026, located in Ocala, Florida. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to promote functional independence.
• Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of recent, relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation facility preferred.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
