About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract starting August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs to design appropriate therapy programs
- Document progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual patient needs
- Conduct assessments and interventions to promote independence and quality of life
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Connecticut
- At least two years of recent, relevant clinical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Passing scores on the national licensing examination
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer software and electronic medical records systems
Skills
- Skilled in assessment and intervention strategies for patients with various conditions
- Knowledgeable in rehabilitation techniques and patient care protocols
- Experience working in a SNF environment

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
